Golovchenko, Mishustin discuss COVID-19 response, Belarus-Russia projects

MINSK, 23 December (BelTA) – Belarus’ Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko and his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin had a telephone conversation to discuss response to the COVID-19 pandemic and also the Belarusian-Russian projects, BelTA learned from the website of the Russian government.

The heads of government talked over the ways to counteract the coronavirus infection and emphasized the importance of the registration of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V in Belarus.

The parties also considered issues concerning the Russian-Belarusian trade and economic cooperation and the implementation of joint projects in various areas.

The prime ministers also touched upon the schedule of forthcoming governmental contacts
