MINSK, 9 February (BelTA) – High representatives of a number of the UN agencies and over 40 countries are expected to attend the Regional Forum of National Coordinators of Europe and Central Asia on Sustainable Development Goals in Minsk, BelTA learned from the press-service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
Preparations for the regional forum were high on the agenda of a meeting between Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Dapkiunas and UN Resident Coordinator/UNDP Resident Representative in Belarus Sanaka Samarasinha.
The Regional Forum of National SDG Coordinators will be held in Minsk on 21-22 February 2018. The event is expected to be attended by Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations Amina Mohammed.
