MOSCOW, 10 June (BelTA) - Belarus is ready to discuss any reasonable initiatives to settle conflicts in Eurasia, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov told the media following his talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during at a joint press conference on 10 June, BelTA has learned.

“Today, as another step towards the development of a new balanced architecture of Eurasian security, we have signed a joint letter [an address to the heads of foreign ministries of the Eurasian states with a proposal to start work on the Eurasian Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st century]. We will consistently promote these ideas in contacts with our colleagues in other states of the Eurasian continent, as well as with the heads of international organizations operating in this space,” the Belarusian minister of foreign affairs said.

According to Maksim Ryzhenkov, Belarus hopes that the governments and experts of the Western countries that are not indifferent to the fate of their peoples will hear and accept the invitation to attend the Third Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security this autumn.
