Eismont: Minsk is prepared to engage with Trump’s envoy John Coale

MINSK, 11 November (BelTA) - Minsk is prepared to engage and hold negotiations with John Coale, whom U.S. President Donald Trump has nominated as the U.S. Special Envoy to Belarus, press secretary of the Belarusian president Natalya Eismont told TASS, BelTA has learned.

"You know, it is not our place to approve or not Donald Trump’s decisions regarding personnel matters. We have been cooperating with John Coale for more than a year now, and this is not our first interaction. There is certainly no antagonism [towards him]. We are prepared and will conduct business and negotiations with him,” Natalya Eismont said.
