Economy, science, culture. Number of documents signed at 3rd Forum of Regions of Belarus, Uzbekistan
MINSK, 8 July (BelTA) – A number of agreements and cooperation roadmaps were signed at the 3rd Forum of Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan, BelTA has learned.
Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Yuri Shuleiko and Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev signed a schedule of mutual visits by regional delegations of Belarus and Uzbekistan in 2026-2027 and an action plan (roadmap) for the development of cooperation between the two countries in 2026-2030.
The Gomel Oblast Executive Committee and the Tashkent Oblast Khokimiyat signed an agreement on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian spheres. Apart from that, an action plan (roadmap) for 2026–2027 was signed to implement an agreement between the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee and the Fergana Oblast Khokimiyat on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian spheres.
The Grodno Oblast Executive Committee and the Andijan Oblast Khokimiyat signed a roadmap for 2027-2028 to implement an agreement on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian spheres. The Grodno Oblast Executive Committee and the Republic of Karakalpakstan (part of Uzbekistan) also signed an agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation.
The parties signed a roadmap on implementing an agreement between the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee and the Andijan Oblast Khokimiyat on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian spheres in 2027-2029. A roadmap was also signed on implementing an agreement between the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee and the Jizzakh Oblast Khokimiyat on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian spheres in 2026-2028.
An action plan was signed on implementing an agreement between the Brest Oblast Executive Committee and the Bukhara Oblast Khokimiyat on trade, economic, scientific, technical, and cultural cooperation in 2026-2027 as well as an action plan for 2026–2027 to implement an agreement on trade and economic cooperation between the Brest Oblast Executive Committee and the Syrdarya Oblast Khokimiyat.
Apart from that, an action plan (a roadmap) was signed on developing cooperation between Vitebsk Oblast and Kashkadarya Oblast in 2026–2028 as well as an action plan (a roadmap) on developing cooperation between Vitebsk Oblast and Namangan Oblast (Republic of Uzbekistan) in 2026–2028.
An action plan was signed for 2026-2028 on implementing an agreement between the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee and the Tashkent Oblast Khokimiyat on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, and cultural-humanitarian spheres of 12 September 2018.
An action plan (a roadmap) was also signed on implementing an agreement between the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee and the Navoi Oblast Khokimiyat on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian spheres in 2026-2027 and an action plan (a roadmap) on implementing an agreement between the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee and the Khorezm Oblast Khokimiyat on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian spheres in 2026-2027.
A memorandum of friendship and cooperation was signed between the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee and the Fergana Oblast Khokimiyat.
The forum’s organizers are Belarus’ National Export Promotion Center and the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan.
