Economic, cultural projects between Minsk, Ho Chi Minh City discussed in Vietnam

MINSK, 9 March (BelTA) – Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City Ruslan Varankou met with Acting Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City Pham Dut Diem, BelTA has learned.

During the meeting the parties briefly summed up results of three years of operation of Belarus’ Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City. Upcoming visits to Belarus and Ho Chi Minh City were discussed in detail.

Close attention was paid to interaction between the twinned cities of Minsk and Ho Chi Minh.

Apart from that, the parties talked over joint events and projects of economic nature as well as those relating to education and culture in view of the current program designed to guide Minsk-Ho Chi Minh City cooperation in 2024-2026.

The Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus was opened in Ho Chi Minh City in March 2022.
