MINSK, 27 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian and Chinese ministries of foreign affairs held consultations in Beijing to discuss multilateral cooperation, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
The Belarusian delegation was led by Vadim Pisarevich, Head of the Global Politics and Humanitarian Cooperation Office, Deputy Head of the Central Office for Multilateral Diplomacy of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Chinese delegation was led by Shi Zhongjun, Deputy Director of the General Department for International Organizations and Conferences.
The sides stressed the strategic nature and the high and trustful level of Belarusian-Chinese relations. During the consultations the sides discussed initiatives and priorities of the two countries in the United Nations Organization and the UN system’s organizations, matters concerning human rights, elections to UN agencies and the UN agenda in the area of development for the period past 2015.
The delegations agreed to vigorously interact in all the aspects of international cooperation.
