Construction of new premises of Belarus’ diplomatic mission in Ashgabat nearing completion

MINSK, 16 February (BelTA) – The delegation of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yevgeny Shestakov is on a visit to Turkmenistan. This information is available on the website of the Belarusian diplomatic mission, BelTA informs.

“The working visit aims to discuss the expansion of Belarus-Turkmenistan cooperation, the preparations for the commissioning of the new premises of the Belarusian diplomatic mission. The construction of this set of buildings is nearing completion in Ashgabat,” the embassy informs.

Yevgeny Shestakov and the members of the Belarusian delegation have already met with Berdiniyaz Myatiyev, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The sides focused on the topical issues of Belarus- Turkmenistan cooperation, praised a high level of strategic partnership in the bilateral format and on the international arena. The Belarusian delegation will stay in Turkmenistan till 18 February.
