Christmas and New Year's greetings from Belarusian people conveyed to Pope Leo XIV

MINSK, 10 January (BelTA) - On 9 January Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Holy See and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta Yuri Ambrazevich attended the traditional New Year's reception hosted by Pope Leo XIV, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The reception was held for representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Holy See.

During a personal greeting, the Belarusian ambassador conveyed Christmas and New Year's greetings to Pope Leo XIV on behalf of the Belarusian people, along with wishes for continued success in his service for the benefit of all humanity.

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Vatican City State were established on 11 November 1992.
