Capabilities of Belarusian army praised
MINSK, 3 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian army is regularly modernized, is mobile, well-trained and armed. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the statement in his speech during the parade in honor of Belarus’ Independence Day on 3 July, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian defense industry makes a tangible contribution to improving combat capabilities of the Belarusian army. “The Belarusian missile industry is successfully developing. One can name over 100 Belarusian innovative defense products,” noted Alexander Lukashenko.
“The weaponry we have will be demonstrated during today’s parade. Everyone will be able to see that we have everything necessary to repulse any aggression,” stressed the president.
Belarus’ policy is transparent. “We have nothing to hide. Together with brotherly Russia we defend borders of our emerging Union State,” said Alexander Lukashenko. “Our strategic goal is to further advance relations with the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. They are our reliable partners and true friends. We have a common history and protect the world from new threats today.”
