MINSK, 17 May (BelTA) – The focus of the new show “It will reach Lukashenko on Monday” has been explained on the air of the Belarusian TV channel First News, BelTA has learned.
The First News TV channel is getting ready to release the new show “It will reach Lukashenko on Monday”. It is a new project that has no analogs on Belarusian television. The show will focus on ordinary people, who make the videos that go viral on social networks. As stated on the air, the new project is an overview of social networks, complaints, problems, grievances, and work stories that have gained millions of views.
“We want to analyze every situation and show what is inside. What we do not want (and this is also a highly important point) — by no means do we want to silence anyone. Trust me on that. The president told everyone: ‘Feel free to write.’ We can repeat: write, but write the truth. An executive of any kind, even a minor one understands: if he or she offends a person or does something wrong, this person can reach even the president by making this story public. And this is indeed an additional mechanism that can keep many on their toes. But I will repeat once again: please, write the truth to the president,” said Natalya Eismont, Press Secretary of the Belarus President.
According to the project’s authors, it will be a documentary investigation. Their task is to get the truth out and talk about the problem because things are not always clear-cut. It is emphasized that while working on the project, the authors study documents, record interviews with the main character of the episode, including with the other party, and even attend court hearings.
The show will premiere on Monday on the TV channel Belarus One right after the Panorama show.
