MOSCOW, 18 January (BelTA) – Current relations between Belarus and Russia were discussed at a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko and State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Grigory Karasin in Moscow on 18 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic representation.
“The parties discussed topical issues related to the Belarusian-Russian relations, cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, and a joint plan of action for 2017,” the embassy said.
According to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Igor Petrishenko and Grigory Karasin also talked over Belarus-Russia cooperation in integration associations. “The parties shared opinions on the international and regional agenda of mutual interest,” the Russian ministry said.
