Belarusian-Latvian cooperation prospects discussed

RIGA, 5 November (BelTA) – Belarus’ Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov met with his Latvian counterpart Maris Kucinskis in Riga on 5 November, BelTA has learned.

The parties discussed the prospects of bilateral trade and economic cooperation and conditions for implementing joint projects.

The parties talked over the issues of Belarus-Latvia partnership in transit traffic, woodworking and pharmaceutical sectors. The Prime Ministers also considered the possibility of developing cooperation in the food industry.

The two heads of government met at the sidelines of the Meeting of the Heads of Government of Central and Eastern European Countries and China (16+1) in Riga.
