Belarusian FM attends official ceremony honoring President Ebrahim Raisi and his delegation in Tehran

MINSK, 22 May (BelTA) -  On the instruction of the Belarusian president, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik took part in an official ceremony in Tehran honoring President Ebrahim Raisi and his delegation, who died in the helicopter crash, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During a brief conversation with Vice President Mohsen Mansouri, Deputy Head of the President's Office for Political Affairs Mohammad Jamshidi and Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani, Sergei Aleinik conveyed condolences on behalf of the Belarusian president and the Belarusian people, expressing words of solidarity and confidence that the Iranian people will overcome the trying times with honor.

The Iranian side expressed gratitude to the Belarusian president for his support and unwavering commitment to the development of bilateral relations.
