Belarusian ambassador presents credentials to president of Georgia

MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Georgia Nikolai Rogashchuk has presented his credentials to President Mikheil Kavelashvili of Georgia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties noted the friendly and trusting nature of Belarusian-Georgian relations and discussed issues related to the further development of cooperation across a wide range of areas.

The Belarusian diplomat confirmed the interest in intensifying constructive dialogue with Georgia, emphasizing the prospects for Belarusian-Georgian trade and economic cooperation.
