Belarusian ambassador presents credentials to German president
MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Germany Denis Sidorenko has presented his credentials to President of Germany Joachim Gauck, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
During the meeting the sides discussed the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, topical items on the international and regional agendas. The German President was pleased with the positive dynamics of Belarusian-German relations and Belarusian-European relations. Joachim Gauck said he hopes the relations would continue developing in a positive manner.
In turn, Denis Sidorenko stressed the importance of the partnering dialogue and interaction between the countries, including in economic affairs. The Ambassador also mentioned Belarus’ contribution to security in the region.
