Belarus, Zimbabwe coordinate approaches to implementing agreements reached at highest level

MINSK, March 28 (BelTA) – Belarus and Zimbabwe have coordinated their approaches to implementing agreements reached at the highest level, BeltA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Yuri Nikolaichik, who has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Zimbabwe, met with Ignatius Graham Mudzimba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zimbabwe to the Republic of Belarus, ahead of his departure to Harare.

The parties coordinated their approaches to the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level, the comprehensive roadmap for strategic cooperation and partnership for 2026–2030, and the execution of decisions made by the Joint Standing Commission on Cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Zimbabwe.

The heads of the diplomatic missions reached an understanding on priority steps for further implementation of the contracts signed within the framework of the third phase of the Zimbabwean Farm Mechanization Program, organizing exchanges of visits and mutual participation in exhibitions, developing bilateral trade, and taking stock of the of the bilateral documents.
