MINSK, 15 November (BelTA) – The defense ministries of Belarus and Vietnam signed an agreement on cooperation in military science, a plan of bilateral military cooperation for 2019, the Defense Ministry told BelTA commenting on the official visit of Belarus Defense Minister Andrei Ravkov to Vietnam.

The Belarusian minister met with Vice President of Vietnam Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, head of the Ministry of National Defense Ngo Xuan Lich. “The parties emphasized the importance of strengthening the relations between Belarus and Vietnam in the military and military-technical areas, and confirmed the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation,” the Defense Ministry said.

Andrei Ravkov’s visit to Vietnam will last till 16 November.
