MINSK, 20 November (BelTA) – The State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus and the Vietnamese Defense Ministry have agreed a plan of joint military and technical cooperation measures and events for the year 2019, BelTA has learned.
The document was okayed during the 17th session of the Belarusian-Vietnamese commission on military and technical cooperation, which took place in Minsk on 17-20 October. The Belarusian delegation was led by Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus Roman Golovchenko. The Vietnamese delegation was led by Deputy Defense Minister, Colonel-General Be Xuan Truong.
The sides also exchanged opinions about interaction in military technology sphere. Results achieved by the agreements reached during the previous session of the commission and by the implementation of this year’s military and technical cooperation plan were discussed.
