MINSK, 24 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Venezuela have discussed the prospects of expanding cooperation in oil production. The matters were discussed at a meeting between Belarus’ Ambassador Oleg Pafenov and Venezuela’s Oil Minister Eulogio Del Pino, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed the state and prospects for expanding cooperation in oil production, the issues planned for consideration by the Belarusian-Venezuelan intergovernmental high-level commission which is due to meet in November 2017, and also the preparations for signing a bilateral cooperation roadmap,” the ministry said.
The meeting took place on the initiative of the Belarusian embassy as part of the agreement reached during the visit of Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro to Belarus.
