MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) – State Secretary of the Belarusian Security Council Stanislav Zas met with Secretary of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan Viktor Makhmudov during the visit to Tashkent on 4 June, BelTA learned from the State Secretariat of the Security Council.
Stanislav Zas and Viktor Makhmudov shared opinions on topical issues of international and regional security. The sides discussed bilateral cooperation and mentioned its positive dynamics across the board.
A protocol on cooperation agreements and a memorandum of understanding between the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research and the Institute of Strategic Interregional Research under the President of Uzbekistan were signed after the consultations between the boards of the security councils of the two countries.
