MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) - The prospects for holding political consultations between the foreign ministries of Belarus and the United Kingdom were discussed during a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the United Kingdom Sergei Aleinik and Director General for Political Affairs at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Simon Gass, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Minsitry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed the topical issues of bilateral cooperation, interaction within the EU-Belarus framework, and exchanged the views on the issues on the international and regional agenda.
