MINSK, 16 December (BelTA) – A number of bilateral documents were signed as part of the 3^rd meeting of the joint committee on intergovernmental cooperation between Belarus and the United Arab Emirates that took place in Minsk on 16 December.

The Government of Belarus and the Government of the United Arab Emirates signed a memorandum of cooperation in culture. The memorandum of cooperation and joint activity was concluded between the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus and the UAE Ministry of Education. Belarus’ Finance Ministry and the UAE Insurance Authority signed a memorandum of cooperation in assistance and mutual collaboration.

The third meeting of the joint committee on intergovernmental cooperation between Belarus and the United Arab Emirates took place at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 15-16 December. Belarus was represented at the event by Vladimir Makei, the UAE – by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Mohammed Gargash.
