Belarus, UAE exchange experience in combat training

MINSK, 9 October (BelTA) - The armed forces of Belarus and the United Arab Emirates have exchanged experience in combat training, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry.

Minsk hosted a meeting between Chief of the General Staff, First Deputy Defense Minister of Belarus Pavel Muraveiko and Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the UAE, Lieutenant General Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei. “The talks were held in an atmosphere of mutual respect and constructive dialogue. The parties discussed current issues of military cooperation and shared experience in combat training,” the ministry noted.

The participants also paid tribute to those who died during the Great Patriotic War, laying flowers at Victory Square in Minsk.

Later today, Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin is scheduled to meet with Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei.
