MINSK, 16 December (BelTA) – Belarus and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) reaffirm the need to maintain the momentum in political relations, Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei told media after the third meeting of the joint committee on intergovernmental cooperation between Belarus and the United Arab Emirates on 16 December.

“We have reaffirmed the need to maintain the high level of political contacts. We confirmed our willingness to host UAE officials, heads of ministries and agencies, and also businessmen, should they want to visit Belarus,” Vladimir Makei said.

The Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs noted that the recent talks and meetings in Minsk were friendly and sincere and demonstrated the countries’ interest in mutually beneficial cooperation.
