MINSK, 27 July (BelTA) – The agreement on the establishment of the green corridor between Belarus and Turkey will enter into force in July 2017, Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei said during the plenary part of the 9th session of the Belarusian-Turkish joint intergovernmental economic commission, BelTA has learned.
“Our customs authorities should start using, as soon as possible, the green corridor mechanism, i.e. fast-track customs clearance of cargoes. The agreement shall enter into force at the end of this month,” Vladimir Makei said.
In his view, the transport administrations of the two countries need to intensify work to further optimize freight and transport connectivity.
