Belarus, Switzerland discuss ways to step up bilateral ties

MINSK, 14 September (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Sekreta received a copy of the credentials of appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to Belarus Stefan Estermann, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian ministry of foreign affairs.

“The parties discussed the current state and prospects for stepping up cooperation between Belarus and Switzerland in the political, trade, economic and other areas in the context of the existing framework conditions, and also exchanged views on the situation in the region and the world,” the ministry said.

Igor Sekreta wished the diplomat success in his work for the benefit of further expanding Belarusian-Swiss ties.
