Belarus-Slovakia regular flights discussed

MINSK, 19 March (BelTA) – The opening of the regular flight between Belarus and Slovakia was discussed at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Kalinin and Slovakia’s Ambassador to Belarus Jozef Migas, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.

The talks considered bilateral cooperation in different areas, including the development of transport infrastructure and the opening of regular flights between the two countries.

Anatoly Kalinin met with Head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development mission in Belarus Alexander Pivovarsky. The parties discussed the implementation of the current, infrastructure projects, promising areas of cooperation in the municipal sector. The parties talked over topical issues, overriding events, necessary for further fruitful cooperation and implementation of projects.

Anatoly Kalinin also met with Head of the World Bank mission in Belarus Alex Kremer. The parties discussed the implementation of the project in water supply and water discharge, preparations for a new comprehensive in the utilities project and the bank’s participation in the implementation of events to enhance energy efficiency of the housing stock and the provision of consultative services in the area. The meeting also focused on the forthcoming visit of the World Bank executive directors to Belarus in May 2018.
