Belarus-Serbia intergovernmental commission to meet in Belgrade in April

MINSK, 3 March (BelTA) – The 10th meeting of the Belarusian-Serbian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation will take place in Belgrade in April, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Serbia Vladimir Chushev told BelTA.

The matter was discussed during Vladimir Chushev’s meeting with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic in Belgrade on 2 March. The parties considered the issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for its further development with the emphasis on the implementation of important economic projects. Special attention was paid to the preparation for the forthcoming meetings of the Belarusian-Serbian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation and the Business Cooperation Council between the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and also other bilateral events.

The agenda of the meeting of the intergovernmental commission will include the issues related to the implementation of the bilateral cooperation road map. The meeting is due to take place in Belgrade on 19 April. It will be preceded by the meeting of the Business Council and the Belarusian-Serbian business matchmaking session.
