MINSK, 13 April (BelTA) – The consultations between the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs took place in Minsk on 13 April to discuss relations with the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Belarusian delegation was led by Deputy Head of Directorate General for Asia, Africa and Latin America — Head of Latin America Division Pavel Pustovoy, the Russian delegation was headed by Director of Latin American Department Alexander Shchetinin.

The sides discussed the relations of Belarus and Russia with the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, and also the approaches of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs to the development of cooperation with the countries.
