MINSK, 21 May (BelTA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms the unchanged position of the Republic of Belarus regarding the one China policy and its recognition of the Government of China as the sole legitimate representative of all China and Taiwan as an integral part of China’s territory, reads an official statement by the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued in connection with the accession to power of the new leadership in Taiwan, BelTA has learned.

The statement emphasizes that the Republic of Belarus calls for peaceful evolutionary development of the relations between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.
