MINSK, 25 August (BelTA) – Belarus’ Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov will make a working trip to Mogilev Oblast on 25 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the government.
The head of government is set to visit OAO Mogilev Lenok (Mogilev District) where he will be briefed on the status of the dairy industry of Mogilev Oblast. Then he will inspect the site of the former synthetic fiber plant and will be reported on the progress in the demolition of the facilities of the former enterprise and the prospects of using the vacated premises.
Andrei Kobyakov is also scheduled to visit OAO Mogilev Metallurgical Works to get acquainted with the progress in the implementation of the project to produce rough axles for 1520mm-gauge railway rolling stock and will discuss the prospects of development of OAO Mogilevkhimvolokno. He will also visit Kirov Mogilev Automobile Plant, a branch of BelAZ, to review the status of the project to manufacture wheelsets of cargo railway rolling stock and axle equipment.
The prime minister will also visit the Mogilev car-building factory to review the measures taken to increase the industrial output and export, and to diversify sales markets.
