Belarus president sends greetings to BSUIR personnel

MINSK, 15 March (BelTA) – Belarus president Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to the personnel of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR) on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the university, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian reader.

The head of state remarked that the university marks the important anniversary in the status of a leading scientific, educational and research center specializing in information technologies and radioelectronics.

“Authoritative scientific schools of the BSUIR are well-known abroad. Graduates of the university who make a significant contribution to the development of the innovative Belarusian economy, strengthening of the industrial and scientific potential of the country are the golden fund of the university. Being a talent foundry for the IT sector, your institution of higher learning takes an active part in the global digital modernization of all production sectors, social sector and public life,’ the message of greetings reads.

Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that the personnel of the university will multiply the best traditions of Belarusian higher education.
