Belarus president sends birthday greetings to singer Valery Leontiev

MINSK, 19 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to People’s Artist of Russia Valery Leontiev, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Over the course of years the audience has been enthralled by your unique manner of singing, bright individuality and unflagging energy,” the felicitation message reads.

The head of state remarked that numerous fans from various countries admire the unique talent and artistry of Valery Leontiev, and the singer’s dedication to his favorite job has become an example for young artists. “You are by right called one of the most famous singers of our time who has a special place in the history of modern art,” the president stressed.

Alexander Lukashenko is convinced that the creative work of Valery Leontiev will remain a source of joy and inspiration for people and will contribute to the enhancement of friendship between Belarus and Russia.
