Belarus president sees opportunities for overcoming crisis phenomena in economy

PINSK, 27 May (BelTA) – There are opportunities for overcoming crisis phenomena in economy and securing sustainable development with a focus on export. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the statement while talking to employees of the mechanical engineering company ZAO Amkodor-Pinsk on 27 May, BelTA has learned.

“We have to survive this period of time. If we give up and start whining and moaning about the crisis, it will be tantamount to burying ourselves alive. It is not our way. A crisis is primarily in one’s head,” stressed the Belarusian leader.

According to the President, Belarusian products are now in demand in many countries. “It is necessary to find the countries that will buy our merchandise. It is necessary to learn to sell it. This crisis has made us learn fast and we are learning indeed,” stated Alexander Lukashenko.
