MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is expected to go to New York, USA on a working visit on 26-29 September, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.

In New York Alexander Lukashenko is expected to take part in events of the UN Sustainable Development Summit. A post-2015 international sustainable development agenda will be adopted as a result of the summit. Alexander Lukashenko will make a speech during the plenary session of the summit to outline Belarus’ stance on the matter.

The head of state is also expected to make a speech within the framework of the general political discussion during the 70^th session of the UN General Assembly where he will lay down Belarus’ stance on handling the most topical international problems.

While in the USA Alexander Lukashenko is expected to hold a number of bilateral meetings with leaders of other countries as well as with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein.
