Belarus president extends Independence Day greetings to Sri Lanka

MINSK, 4 February (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Sri Lanka President Maithripala Sirisena and the people of Sri Lanka as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarusian president.

The head of state expressed confidence in successful social and economic development and prosperity of Sri Lanka.

“I hope for further expansion of cooperation between Belarus and Sri Lanka for the benefit of the people of the two states,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
