Belarus president expects organization, discipline during sowing campaign

MINSK, 16 March (BelTA) – Organization and discipline will make the forthcoming sowing campaign good. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the statement as he visited the Interior Ministry’s internal troops’ unit No.5448 on 16 March, BelTA has learned.

According to the head of state, only organization and discipline can secure a quality sowing campaign. “All the other issues have been taken care of. It is necessary to start sowing when the soil is ready. Everything should be done in an organized manner,” said Alexander Lukashenko.

Alexander Lukashenko went on saying that the prospect of a sowing campaign no longer causes doubts or difficulties the way it was in the past. “Back then it was necessary to better mobilize the workforce. We didn’t always have a sufficient amount of machines, seeds, money, and so on. We have all of those now. Those, who think about sowing in good time, will sow well,” stressed the president.

The head of state pointed out that a harvest will be plentiful if everything is sown at optimal times. “If we fail to do it on time, we will not have bread and other foods. But we will have everything. We have already learned how it should be done. We have enough machines and equipment. The workers are trained this is why I see absolutely no problems in this regard.”
