Belarus PM off to Yerevan for Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting

MINSK, 9 October (BelTA) – Belarus’ Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko has gone to Yerevan, Armenia on a working visit to take part in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, BelTA has learned.

The key issues on the agenda of the meeting will include the epidemiological situation and resumption of passenger service in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Participants will consider uncoordinated matters regarding the development of the Eurasian integration. The agenda will also include the removal of barriers in the EAEU market in 2018-2019.

The prime ministers will consider the main areas of regulating the cross-border electronic trading in goods in the EAEU and joint export promotion measures. The agenda will include the issue on the candidacy for the member of the EEC Board (Minister) on Competition and Anti-Monopoly Regulation that will be further submitted for approval of the heads of state.

On the sidelines of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council Roman Golovchenko is expected to meet with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
