MINSK, 28 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian military are taking part in the 10^th International Defense Exhibition and Seminar IDEAS 2018. On the sidelines of the expo they have held talks with their Pakistani counterparts to discuss the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the defense industry, BelTA has learned from the website of the Ministry of Defense.

The Belarusian delegation was led by Aide to the Defense Minister, Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department Oleg Voinov. “The Belarusian delegation has met with Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Armed Forces of Pakistan Zubair Mahmood Hayat. The parties discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation in the military field and in the defense industry,” the Ministry of Defense said.

The International Defense Exhibition and Seminar IDEAS 2018 opened in Karachi on 27 November. The forum is dedicated to the fight against international terrorism.
