Belarus, Myanmar sign agreements on cooperation

MINSK, 7 March (BelTA) - Belarus and Myanmar have signed a package of documents on cooperation. A ceremony of signing was held in the presence of the leaders of the two countries, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Min Aung Hlaing, in Minsk on 7 March, BelTA learned.

Belarus and Myanmar signed a memorandum of intent on joint actions to promote bilateral cooperation.

The parties concluded an agreement on mutual protection of classified information.

The Sport and Tourism Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Sport and Youth of Myanmar signed an agreement on cooperation in sport.

The Justice Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Legal Affairs of Myanmar concluded a cooperation agreement.

A memorandum of understanding was inked between the Agriculture and Food Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation of Myanmar on cooperation in agriculture and food security.

During the visit of Myanmar’s leader, the parties signed more than 15 contracts and memorandums in the field of trade and economic cooperation.
