CHISINAU, 12 September (BelTA) – Belarus and Moldova will intensify cooperation in industry, agriculture, construction and pharmaceutics. The agreement was reached during the meeting of Ambassador of Belarus to Moldova Sergei Chichuk with Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Infrastructure Octavian Calmic, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Chisinau.
The topical matters of cooperation between Belarus and Moldova were discussed during the meeting. The sides reviewed the status of implementation of the agreements achieved following the official visit of Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip to Belarus on 6-7 June 2017 and the protocol of the 18th session of the Belarus-Moldova intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation of 5 June 2017.
The agreement was reached to further cooperation within the interagency working groups on industry, agriculture, construction and pharmaceutics.
The preparation for the festive events to mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Belarus-Moldova diplomatic relations was reviewed during the meeting.
