MINSK, 15 July (BelTA) – It was with deep pain that the Republic of Belarus learnt the news about the terror attack in Nice on 14 July, reads a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus in connection with the attack in Nice posted on the website of the ministry, BelTA has learned.
“The monstrous attack left at least 80 people dead, and more than 100 inured, including many children. The fact that this brutal act of terror occurred on France’s national day makes this attack particularly outrageous,” the statement says.
“Belarus resolutely condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, and believes that acts of violence against civilians that have become more and more frequent nowadays cannot be justified and require a strong, consolidated response of the international community,” the statement reads.
The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
