MINSK, 31 October (BelTA) – According to the information of the Egyptian embassy, there was a Belarusian national among those who died in a crash of the Russian Airbus A321 on 31 October, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Russian airliner A321 (Kogalymavia flight 9268) crashed on Saturday, shortly after leaving the resort of Sharm el-Sheikh for Russia’s St. Petersburg. The debris was found across a 20sq km-wide area of Sinai. The crash killed all 224 (217 passengers and seven crewmembers) people on board. The majority of the passengers were Russian nationals. Among them were also four Ukrainians.
