Belarus, Mali share opinions on bilateral cooperation

Photo of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian FederationMOSCOW, 14 September (BelTA) – Diplomats of Belarus and Mali have exchanged opinions on the development of cooperation between the two countries, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko held a regular working meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mali to Russia Tiefing Konate in Moscow on 14 September. The parties exchanged opinions on the further development of bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Mali. Special attention was focused on the ways to strengthen the legal framework of bilateral cooperation,” the press service said.

Belarus and Mali established diplomatic relations on 3 November 1993. In 2016 the bilateral trade totaled $45.8 million, with Belarus’ exports reaching $21.2 million.
