MINSK, 6 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Israel are interested in expanding inter-parliamentary contacts. The matter was discussed at a meeting between Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Belarus Alon Shoham, BelTA learnt from the press service of the upper house of the Belarusian parliament.
The parties discussed the Belarusian-Israeli inter-parliamentary cooperation, and also a wide range of issues related to cooperation in the trade, economic and other areas of mutual interest.
“The parties expressed mutual interest in further expansion of mutually beneficial ties, including at the parliamentary level,” the press service said.
