Belarus, Iran discuss cooperation in war journalism

MINSK, 29 May (BelTA) - Belarus and Iran discussed the development of cooperation in war journalism, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.

Heads of military mass media outlets and the Information Department of the Defense Ministry of Belarus are paying a visit to Iran. The delegation is headed by Aleksei Titsky, Head of the Information Department - Deputy Head of the Ideology Directorate of the Defense Ministry.

The heads of the delegations discussed the development of cooperation in war journalism, information and cultural activities, as well as issues of countering information threats. The parties also discussed the prospects of interaction between the military departments of the two countries. Among them are possible joint media projects, including those covering various aspects of traditions and cultures of Belarus and Iran. Aleksei Titsky expressed confidence that cooperation in information between the military departments of the two countries would develop on the basis of friendship and mutual interests.
