MINSK, 25 August (BelTA) – Interaction between Belarus and Iran in the international arena was discussed in a meeting between Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Valentin Rybakov and a delegation of Iran’s Islamic Consultative Assembly friendship group with the Belarus National Assembly, BelTA was informed in the press-service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

The delegation was headed by the chairman of the friendship group Ali Kaidi.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues of the Belarusian-Iranian affairs, cooperation in the international arena, the status of the negotiations between Iran and P5+1 countries on the Iranian nuclear program.

Special attention was paid to the joint high-level activities in 2015, the expansion of bilateral cooperation in various fields.
