Belarus interested in bolstering bilateral relations with USA

MINSK, 6 July (BelTA) – On behalf of Belarusian people and himself President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to U.S. President Donald Trump and all Americans as the country celebrated Independence Day, BelTA learned from the presidential press service.

“The development of solid constructive relations with the USA on the basis of common values and priorities is one of the main objectives of the Belarusian foreign policy,” the message of greetings reads.

The head of state remarked that the enhancement of contacts in the economy, innovation, finance, science and education meets the interests of the two countries. “I am convinced that increasing the level of the diplomatic mission in Minsk and Washington will contribute to the efficient implementation of joint projects,” the president stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Donald Trump strong health, successful conduct of the presidential election in the USA. He wished American people to overcome temporary difficulties as soon as possible and also wished them peace, accord and wellbeing.
