Belarus, India to sign mutual legal assistance agreement

MINSK, 11 September (BelTA) – Belarus and India will sign an agreement on mutual legal assistance with civil and economic cases, the press service of the Belarusian Justice Ministry told BelTA.

The matter was discussed during bilateral consultations in Minsk. The agreement will allow the relevant agencies in Belarus and India to provide assistance with civil and economic cases by carrying out various procedures. In line with the agreement Belarus and India will recognize rulings by each other’s courts.

As a result of the meeting the sides signed a protocol of consultations on reaching mutual understanding on every article of the draft agreement. Belarus and India will take measures to sign the document soon
